
That's the good.
The bad? Kilauea volcano's main crater has decided to let off some steam. Actually, steam wouldn't be bad. The Halemaumau Crater is now spewing sulfur dioxide at the rate of 1,500 tonnes per day. Depending on the way the wind is blowing, it looks like Los Angeles around here sometimes. You can keep up with the latest here. I've been coughing a bit but no adverse consequences yet. You can bet I'm watching it, though.
